Located in the City of Brimbank 20kms from Melbourne, our school provides a great learning environment and features bright, comfortable, carpeted classrooms with plenty of natural light, central heating and evaporative cooling. We have specialist classrooms for Art, Computer Studies, Maths, Science and Reading Recovery as well as a modern computerised Library and a Multi-Purpose Room for indoor activities. Wheelchair access is provided throughout the school.

Modern safe playgrounds with a mixture of paved and grassed areas cater for recreation and outdoor learning activities and a school canteen operates daily.

Our School Charter sets out our priorities, directions and goals. Parent participation is welcome throughout the school and parents are encouraged to contribute to the development of school policy. Weekly newsletters keep the school community fully informed.

Uniform

Sensible dress and behaviour standards are enforced.
The neat appearance and good manners of our students is something of which we are very proud. The compulsory, practical, school uniform includes a hat for the summer months.

Prudent management and a high level of parent support ensure low school charges while providing students with access to the lastest computer technology and the many specialist programs to enrich their education.

Student health and well-being is of prime importance and is a school priority with a fitness program for all students plus regular Physical Education classes. A wide range of school based and inter-school sports focus on skills development and sportsmanship and all children are encouraged to participate in an intensive water safety and swimming program

The Life Education van regularly visits the school each year to reinforce classroom learning about personal health, safety issues and drug awareness.

Our school offers special support for students with special needs and parents are welcome to discuss options with me in total confidence. Our Integration program enables many of these
children to participate fully in the social and educational life of the school.

We have a great Kindergarten to Prep Transition Program which prepares the young ones for their first year at school. Enquiries about Prep enrolment and this Transition Program are accepted from Term 2 each year. Enrolments or transfers in at any other year level are welcome at any time.

Trained Reading Recovery teachers
operate this acclaimed early intervention program which addresses early reading difficulties. Children from non-English speaking backgrounds (ESL) receive special additional support.
