Parent, teacher and community represenatives work together on the School Community to give the whole schol community a say in shaping school policy.

Our School Council is elected from the school community and monthly council meetings are open to all interested parents. Sub Committees of Council - Finance, Education, Building & Grounds, meet on a regular basis between full Council meetings to progress specific matters to the stage they can be put before Council for decision.

The School Council is responsible for the School Charter which sets the policy framework (within DoE guidelines), specific educational goals and achievement indicators for the school for a three year period.

Council monitors progress and reviews school policies from time to time to ensure they reflect current best practise and community expectations.

Parents and staff members can approach their Council representatives at any time to make suggestions, raise issues or put forward points of view.

Major decisions are conveyed to the broader school community through the school's weekly newsletter.

Our School Council is an active member of ASCIV (the Association of School Councils in Victoria) and through this affliliation has access to professional development, up-to-date advice and assistance and the opportunity to share experiences with other school councils.
