Teddy Bears Picnic

The Foundation - Year 2 students have been learning about what it means to belong. They have explored the way they belong within their families, their classrooms, and the wider school community. To celebrate their learning, they hosted a Teddy Bear’s Picnic.

Students brought in their favourite teddies and invited their families to join us for a special lunch. This was a great way for families to meet each other and for the students to understand that they are a part of a wider community outside of their immediate families and classes.

The Foundation - Year 2 students were excited to introduce their friends to their families and to meet the families of other students. Throughout the picnic they exhibited amazing community spirit, kindness, and respect.

Located in the City of Brimbank 20kms from Melbourne, our school provides a great learning environment and features bright, comfortable, carpeted classrooms with plenty of natural light, central heating and evaporative cooling.
